52nd Deutschesfest

Deutschesfest is put on by local descendants of the German-Russians who settled in Odessa at the beginning of the 20th Century. A strong appreciation of good food, drink, music and dancing has been handed down through generations to give this festival a touch of care you’ll only find from those with true hometown pride. This gives you the perfect reason to get the family together, break out your lederhosen and dirndls and load up the motorhome or trailer to bring everyone out for a weekend of fun.

Walk-a-thon

Since 2005, this fun annual event has been held to support youth activities in Odessa by way of the Odessa Aquatic Center. We are so grateful to be keeping the tradition going to now support the GO! Odessa Rec program! Funds raised will go directly toward youth activities in Odessa.

Celebrate with Odessa for Spring Fling Weekend! The 29th Annual Fronen Steppdecker Odessa Spring Fling Quilt Show at the Odessa High School Gym Friday and Saturday from 9am-5pm ($5 Admission), and yardsales around town all weekend! Visit the Fest Platz for special entertainment and vendors.

Odessa Healthcare Foundation's Annual Wine Tasting, Microbrew Sampling & Auction

The Odessa Healthcare Foundation's Annual Wine Tasting, Microbrew Sampling, and Auction is a community event to be enjoyed with friends, food, and wine. The evening begins with wine tasting from a variety of wineries and microbrew sampling from Odessa’s own Rocky Coulee Brewing Company, and appetizers prepared by Odessa FBLA.

Tickets can be purchased online or at the Odessa Drug or Leffel, Otis & Warwick (Odessa office).

Spring Fling

There will be bouncy houses and games for the kids on Saturday, the 28th Annual Fronen Steppdecker Odessa Spring Fling Quilt Show at the Odessa High School Gym Friday and Saturday from 9am-5pm ($5 Admission), and on Saturday the 30th from 10am-6pm on the Fest Platz, there will be a special celebration of the town’s founding 120 years ago!

Flashlight Egg Hunt

Located at the town park. Ages 10-18 (if still a high school student). Once it becomes a little dark, the flashlights come out! If you’re too old for the traditional egg hunt, but still a student you’re welcome to come and join us. Eggs will include candy of course, but may also include some other awesome goodies, such as gift certificates! Bring your own flashlights and something to gather your eggs!

Daddy Daughter Dance

Finally! Imagine those warm days on the way with a live DJ, luau-themed treats and decor, as well as a keepsake photo. Early bird tickets can be purchased online at https://odessaluau.brownpapertickets.com/ until 24 hours prior for $25/ couple $5 additional daughter and tickets can also be purchased at the door for $35/ couple $5 additional daughter. Cash or checks can NOT be used for early bird tickets this year.
Dinner starts @6pm, but will be available for the evening
